2022-23 Litter
Meet Lucy
We brought Lucy home from Holbrook Homestead in SC in December 2020. She has been a dream ever since. Her quiet temperament with just enough spunk to play and keep our 7 children safe. She's never far from any of us. She prefers the outdoors and keeps a constant watch on the hillside in front of our home, overlooking the garden. The desire to help with our chickens and goats is there and we are working with her to make her an effective working dog. Her biddability and level of training at her young age far surpasses any other dog breed we have had. Intelligence and the desire to please are strong characteristics. Her first pairing is planned for Fall 2022 with Hamish!
Windrush Farm Alistair "Hamish"
We are excited about pairing Lucy with this stud of a farm dog! Owned by Christy-Lynn Clevenger of Ivy Creek Collies, Hamish is an invaluable resource for their farm and family.

And they're gone! Polly found a glorious home with an agility trainer and her 6 children in NY. Edmund ended up being the only local puppy, homed with some of our dearest friends on their little homestead and 8 children. It has been so rewarding to see each and every puppy in a wonderful home!
Update: February 12, 2023
Puppies continue to make their way to their new homes! Lilly left this week with our puppy transport man Ralph (letpopdoit.com) and traveled all the way to Kansas City, MO to a small homestead with two little boys. Beaver was scooped up and headed with a family of 7 to another homestead in VA.

Edmund and Polly are still available! For more information please connect with us!
Update: February 2, 2023
I've been so busy getting puppies sent out around the country that I haven't had a chance to update! Peter, now Sherlock has headed to Raleigh, NC; Susan, now Hallie is in Arkansas, Tumnus, now Finn, in VA! Lilly is heading onto Missouri, and Edmund to Texas!

Only two puppies looking for their forever homes: Polly and Beaver
Update: December 18, 2022
The puppies are 3 weeks old today! Time is flying. Their teeth are in and we started on some solid foods to give Lucy a break. We'll soon be moving them to their transition area to get them more space and start potty training! Here they are in their basket while we clean the whelping box. The easiest way to get a photo of them all together now that they are moving around and playing. It's also fun to watch their little personalities develop.
Update: October 1, 2022
Hamish came over for an extended visit this week and we all fell head over heels for his sweet personality. Lucy did too, apparently, as we witnessed two ties!! Puppies are expected the last week of November. We will conduct a pregnancy test around 27 days to confirm this. Applications will be made available very soon. We are all very excited :)
Update: September 19, 2022
The moment we've all been waiting for: Lucy went into heat! We plan to breed on days 10, 12, 14 and possible 16 and are hoping for two ties. We are so excited for the possibility of puppies :) I think Lucy looks excited too, don't you? Stay tuned! Instagram/bramblymountainfarm Facebook/bramblymountainfarm

Update: July 21, 2022
Lucy and Hamish have their second playdate over at Ivy Creek Farm. The goal is to get these two comfortable with each other so when Lucy goes into heat, presumably in September, she'll be ready to accept Hamish. Hamish is having no trouble with the idea...lol. But they both seem to enjoy each other quite a bit already! Although Lucy has no problem reminding Hamish who's really in charge here.
